Section 410IAC1-2.5-51. "Medical laboratory" defined

"Medical laboratory" means an entity that engages in the:

(1) biological;

(2) microbiological;

(3) serological;

(4) chemical;

(5) immunohematological;

(6) radioimmunological;

(7) hematological;

(8) cytological;

(9) pathological; or

(10) other;

examination of materials derived from the human body for the detection, diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of any disease, infection, or impairment, or the assessment of human health.
