Section 35IAC1.2-3-11. Comprehensive Employment Training Act (CETA)

  •    Employees involved in the administration of Comprehensive Employment Training Act (CETA) programs may be covered by PERF. Regular CETA employment is not such employment that may be covered by PERF. CETA employees who leave CETA employment and subsequently enter employment in a PERF-covered position shall not receive service credit for prior CETA employment, even if the position is essentially the same. The participating employer is solely responsible for classifying the member's service, and such classification is binding on the affected employee and the fund.
