Section 345IAC13-1-4. Registration renewal

  •    The following apply to a registration required under sections 2 and 3 of this rule:

    (1) A person may register by submitting a completed registration application and the required fee to the state veterinarian.

    (2) A registration is valid for one (1) year. The month the state veterinarian receives a completed application and the fee is paid is the month of registration. The month of registration will remain fixed. A registration expires on the last day of the month of registration in the following year.

    (3) A person may renew their registration up to sixty (60) days prior to its expiration.

    (4) A person who continues to operate as a commercial dog breeder or commercial dog broker after their registration expires may reestablish their registration under this rule by:

    (A) submitting a completed registration application to the state veterinarian; and

    (B) paying the fee required under subdivision (5).

    (5) A person who operates as a commercial dog breeder or as a commercial dog broker without maintaining a valid registration with the board must do the following:

    (A) Pay a registration fee that is equal to two (2) times the applicable registration fee required under sections 2 and 3 of this rule.

    (B) If a person operated without being registered for more than one (1) year, pay the registration fee described in this subdivision for each year they operated without being registered.
