  •    (a) The division is authorized to cooperate with the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States to effectuate the purposes of the Act.

      (b) Such cooperation may include receiving the advisory assistance, technical and laboratory assistance and training, and financial aid from the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States. The state veterinarian may receive any funds available from the United States government toward the cost of the program. The cooperative program under this section is called a state-federal program.
