Section 345IAC1-3-21. Moving dogs, cats, and ferrets into Indiana

  •    A person transporting a dog, cat, or ferret into Indiana must comply with sections 1 and 2 of this rule. A dog or cat must be accompanied by a certificate of veterinary inspection that contains a physical description, such as breed, sex, age, and color that sufficiently identifies the individual animal. The certificate of veterinary inspection must be issued within the thirty (30) days immediately prior to the date of movement. A person transporting a dog, cat, or ferret into Indiana must also comply with the requirements in section 22 of this rule.
