Section 328IAC1-3-1.6. Preapproval of work

6. (a) Persons described in section 1 of this rule may submit to the administrator a request for a preapproval of projected work to be performed under the approved CAP. The request and any additional information requested by the administrator must be in a form or format approved by the administrator. The administrator's preapproval will be based on a determination of the following:
(1) Cost effectiveness under section 1.3 of this rule.
(2) That the costs are reasonable.
(b) The administrator may ask for additional information to substantiate the projected work and projected costs.
(c) The administrator will send a preapproval letter to the owner or operator stating how much of the work is preapproved as reasonable and cost effective. This preapproval is not a determination on eligibility under section 3 of this rule.
