Section 327IAC8-2-33. Laboratory compliance

  •    (a) For the purpose of determining compliance with this rule, a sample may be considered only if it has been analyzed by a laboratory certified by the commissioner or the EPA using methods specified in this rule, except that measurements of:

    (1) alkalinity;

    (2) calcium;

    (3) conductivity;

    (4) disinfectant residual;

    (5) orthophosphate;

    (6) pH;

    (7) silica;

    (8) temperature; and

    (9) turbidity;

    may be performed by any person acceptable to the commissioner.

      (b) Nothing in this rule shall be construed to preclude the commissioner or any duly designated representative of the commissioner from taking samples or from using the results from the samples to determine compliance by a supplier of water with the applicable requirements of this rule.
