Section 327IAC2-1.5-19. Limited use waters and outstanding state resource waters

  •    (a) The following waters within the Great Lakes system are designated for limited use:

    (1) Berlin Court Ditch in Elkhart County from the Nappanee sewage treatment plant to two (2) miles downstream.

    (2) An unnamed tributary and Werntz Ditch in Elkhart County from the Wakarusa STP to the confluence of Werntz Ditch and Baugo Creek.

    (3) Hilkey Ditch in DeKalb County from the County Line Cheese Company outfall to North County Line Road one and one-half (1.5) miles downstream.

    (4) Hindman Ditch in DeKalb County from the Ralph Sechler Company outfall downstream to its confluence with Bear Creek.

      (b) In addition to the waters of the state listed at 327 IAC 2-1-11(b) and 327 IAC 2-1.3-3(d), the following waters are classified as outstanding state resource waters:

    (1) Cedar Creek in Allen and DeKalb counties, from river mile 13.7 to its confluence with the St. Joseph River.

    (2) The Indiana portion of the open waters of Lake Michigan.

    (3) All waters incorporated in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.
