Section 326IAC11-2-2. Gaseous emission limitations

(a) New Sources: Gaseous emissions from sulfuric acid production facilities constructed after December 23, 1971, shall be limited to ten percent (10%) opacity and shall not contain sulfuric acid mist in excess of 0.075 kg per metric ton of acid produced (0.15 lb per ton), the production of which being expressed as one hundred percent (100%) H2SO4.
(b) Existing Sources: After January 1, 1980, no gaseous emissions shall be discharged into the atmosphere, from sulfuric acid production facilities in existence prior to December 23, 1971, which contain sulfuric acid mist in excess of 0.25 kg per metric ton of acid produced (0.5 lb per ton) the production of which being expressed as one hundred percent (100%) H2SO4.
