  •    The basic short-term disability benefit may be augmented up to eighty percent (80%) of the employee's base biweekly wage by pro rata charge against accrued leave balances. For example, an employee entitled to the short-term disability benefit may receive eighty percent (80%) of his or her base biweekly wage by subtracting one (1) day each week from the accrued leave balance.
