Section 312IAC15-1-7. "Management plan" defined

  •    As used in this article, "management plan" means a written document prepared by a district forester, or by a professional forester or wildlife biologist and approved by a district forester, which meets the following requirements:

    (1) The plan is prepared in consultation with the owner or an authorized representative of the owner and signed by the owner or an authorized representative of the owner.

    (2) The plan adequately describes the forest plantation land, native forest land, or wildland being entered into classified status.

    (3) The plan prescribes management practices for the classified land that:

    (A) meet the objectives of the owner; and

    (B) satisfy IC 6-1.1-6 and this article.

    (4) The plan promotes sustainable timber production, wildlife habitat management, or watershed protection as appropriate to the land type.
