Section 312IAC13-7-1. Well yield

  •    (a) Every well (which is to be equipped with a pump) shall be tested for yield. The well shall be test pumped at a capacity at least equal to the pumping rate desired from the well during normal usage.

      (b) A well shall be developed and tested at capacity for a minimum of one (1) hour. The yield and drawdown shall be recorded.

      (c) Pumping equipment shall be installed at a depth to allow for drawdown caused by:

    (1) the pumping equipment itself; and

    (2) seasonal water level fluctuations.
