Section 25IAC2-16-3. Prequalification expiration period; 60 day certificate extension

  •    (a) If the:

    (1) period of prequalification expires and no acceptable renewal materials are rendered by the expired certificate holder; or

    (2) certificate is revoked or suspended for cause before completion of an awarded contract and no acceptable provisions are made to the contrary;

    the contract may be canceled by the department.

      (b) The certification board may extend a valid certificate for a period of not more than sixty (60) days upon written request from the certificate holder before the original expiration date justifying the extension. The request will be acknowledged in writing and the certification board so informed at the next scheduled meeting. Only one (1) extension may be granted for each certificate.
