Section 170IAC6-3-8. Boiler horsepower

Boiler Horsepower. There shall be available for use at times of zero weather at least six boiler horsepower capacity for each 1,000 square feet of radiation connected to the utility's mains.
Note.─A boiler horsepower is equivalent to the evaporation of 34.5 pounds of water per hour from feed water of 212° F. to saturated steam at the same temperature.
