Section 170IAC6-1-21. Flushing mains; records

Flushing Mains. (A) Proper provision shall be made for flushing those parts of a distribution system which need flushing in order to eliminate or minimize complaints from customers arising from discoloration or other abnormal conditions of the water.
(B) Records shall be kept of all flushings of mains, showing date, place and duration, and such records shall be used as a guide in determining the necessary frequency of flushing of the same mains thereafter.
