Section 170IAC4-1-3. Retention of records

Records to be Kept. All records required by these rules shall be preserved for at least three years except as otherwise provided herein or by IC 8-1-2-40 (Burns 54-315). Such records shall be kept within the State at the principal place of business of the public utility, or at such other places as the utility shall designate after notification to the commission, and shall be open for examination by the commission or its representatives. Each public utility shall notify the commission of the office at which such records are kept.
