Section 170IAC4-1-19. Standard nominal frequency

Standard Frequency. Each public utility supplying alternating current shall adopt a standard nominal frequency of 60 HZ. Momentary variations of frequency of more than five percent (5%), which are clearly due to no lack of proper equipment or reasonable care on the part of the public utility, shall not be considered a violation of this rule.
