Section 170IAC6-1-6. Meter register  


Latest version.
  •    (a) All meters used to measure the volume of water sales shall register in:

    (1) U.S. gallons;

    (2) cubic feet; or

    (3) metric units.

      (b) The meter register face shall clearly indicate whether the register is in:

    (1) U.S. gallons;

    (2) cubic feet; or

    (3) metric units.

      (c) Registers shall have the required numerals on the register's face, so that the meter can be correctly read to the nearest:

    (1) one hundred (100) cubic feet;

    (2) one thousand (1,000) U.S. gallons; or

    (3) metric equivalent thereof.
