Section 140IAC9-2-5.5. HIN for watercraft constructed by a person who is not engaged in the manufacture or sale of watercraft

5. The following documentation is required to obtain a HIN for a watercraft constructed by a person who is not engaged in the manufacture or sale of watercraft shall be provided:

(1) a bill of sale if a person other than the applicant constructed the watercraft; or

(2) a sworn statement of ownership and receipts for the materials used to construct the watercraft if the applicant constructed the watercraft.
