Rule 135IAC2-7. Longer Combination Vehicle Operations |
Section 135IAC2-7-20. Driver requirements

(a) Drivers shall possess the minimum qualifications as required by the state for drivers operating vehicles within the state, and drivers must do the following:
(1) Comply with all applicable requirements of IC 8-2.1-24.
(2) Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operation of LCVs.
(b) Drivers of LCVs on the toll road:
(1) must be:
(A) not less than twenty-six (26) years of age; and
(B) in good health; and
(2) shall have not less than five (5) years of provable experience in driving:
(A) semitrailer; or
(B) tandem trailer type;
motor vehicles throughout the four (4) seasons.
(c) A permitted company's application for a driver permit under section 21 of this rule will be rejected by the department if the driver's license has been:
(1) revoked more than once in the past ten (10) years; or
(2) suspended more than once in the past five (5) years.
