Section 105IAC5-7-2. Submission of verified petition for the removal of automatic train-activated warning signals from rail-highway grade crossings

Before any railroad carrier, party, person, association, municipality, or private corporation (hereinafter "petitioner") removes any automatic train-activated warning signals from a grade crossing (as defined by IC 8-6-7.7-1), a verified petition (hereinafter "petition") requesting the consent of the Indiana department of transportation (hereinafter "department") shall be submitted to the department.
